An inshore slam for the books! This trio landed a Snook, Redfish, and Trout on a calm day fishing Charlotte Harbor with ReelFishing Charters in Punta Gorda.
October has been delivering some of the best inshore action of the season here in Punta Gorda and Boca Grande! The weather’s been great, the water’s clean, and the fish are feeding strong across the flats and back bays.

🔥 Snook & Redfish Biting Steady
The Snook fishing has been excellent around mangrove shorelines, creek mouths, and oyster bars. Live bait and soft plastics are producing plenty of hookups, especially on moving tides.
Redfish action has been just as good, with healthy slot fish being caught across the Charlotte Harbor flats.

Trout on the Move
We’re starting to see Speckled Trout show up in solid numbers on the grass flats. Expect even more consistent bites as cooler weather settles in. These fish have been running in nice size classes and putting up a great fight on light tackle.

Mixed Bag Opportunities
While Snapper fishing has slowed a bit, we’re still picking off a few keepers around structure and deeper cuts. And yes — Tarpon are still around! You can still spot plenty of Silver Kings rolling in the harbor and around the passes.
