Family Fun fishing trips are all about the kids! Fun fishing is exactly that. It is high volume, low pressure fishing that is fun for everyone. No matter your age, experience or stamina this fishing charter is for you. Captain Danny loves teaching people the art of fishing, especially kids. Nothing is as fun as watching 1,2 or 3 kids all hooked up at the same time laughing, screaming and grinning from ear to ear. All fishing is fun but this trip is a blast. Focused on catching lots of fish no matter what they are. From feisty Snook every cast to sharks that are just the right size Captain Danny tries to keep the rods bent and the day action packed. Keeping people happy – that’s the name of this game.

Many believe that Boca Grande and Charlotte Harbor are for serious fishermen only. While it is true that serious fishermen can test their skills here, nothing could be farther from the truth! The Boca Grande and Charlotte Harbor area is a child’s educational playground. Teeming with fish, wildlife, and birdlife, the backcountry of the Charlotte Harbor area will captivate and amaze children of all ages. Watch as Stingrays, Dolphin, Eagle Rays, and Sharks swim almost within arm’s reach of the boat through the clear green water.

Fishing in Boca Grande with a family can be a fantastic experience that will create lifetime memories and a love for fishing beginning at the foundation or it can be a frustrating, unproductive way to spend the day. Many services simply take a family or a child fishing just like they would an adult. Most children do not have the attention span to hunt for Tarpon all day and truthfully don’t even care to catch one. Kids want to catch colorful, interesting fish that are easy to catch and offer plenty of opportunity.

An underlying theme in everything that we do at Reelfishing Charters involves kids and fishing. Teaching a kid to fish is one of the greatest gifts that you can give that child. The time spent together will be one of your most cherished memories. Take a kid fishing.

Light Tackle, Live and Artificial Bait

On our family trips we typically use light spinning tackle with 10-15lb braided lines. All tackle will be top of the line equipment from Shimano and G-Loomis. We will target fish with live bait and easy-to-use artificial.

*Communication is an important part of each charter that ensures Capt. Danny provides you with a courteous, professional, enjoyable and memorable fishing experience. As a result if you require access to facilities, have special needs or want to target a specific fish please let him know. Remember, you normally catch more fish if you go after what is biting. So, to help make your trip a success, please communicate your wishes and needs to the captain prior to the trip

**Please remember that the availability of certain species depends on tides, season, weather and amount of fishing time invested.

Price includes 1-2 adults and up to 3 kids under age 12.

• Certain situations will allow 5 anglers.
• No Charge for children 12 and under up to 5 anglers.
• Kids are always welcome and there is no minimum age limit but please assess your child’s comfort level with boating. Children 6 years and younger will be required to wear a coast guard approved PFD at all times. Due to insurance regulations, you must bring your own PFD for children six years and younger.
