They are run in a bay boat, in only calm conditions, and stay relatively close to shore. This will have no impact on the quality or quantity of fish caught. They feed close to the surface, fight tremendously hard and can make for unbelievably fast action. Sometimes the action is as fast as you can keep your lines rigged up on fish from 5 to 40 pounds.

The open Gulf is much more protected than the Atlantic so there are a lot more days Captain Danny’s charters can get out there and take advantage of the great fishing the Gulf has to offer. If it’s too rough though, the good news is his charters are only a few minutes away from some of the best flats fishing in the country so there are always good alternatives.
