Every spring and early summer, Charlotte Harbor becomes the epicenter of one of the most exciting fishing events in the world, the Tarpon migration. Thousands of Silver Kings, ranging from 80 to over 200 pounds, make their way into the harbor and nearby Boca Grande Pass. This migration lines up perfectly with the Hill Tide of May and June, when crabs flush from the harbor into the Gulf.
